Welcome

Thank you for visiting my blog. I am on old teacher (ha) who is trying to get up-to-date in technology. This is my first attempt to try something other than sending e-mails. I want to create a format for my ESL studnts at Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas, to communicate

  1. OLD? Not a chance - Yesterday after church (www.robc.org) I carried two women (elegant and mature in their walk) to Room 1201 of the Methodist Fondren Brown Hospital to see our dear friend Virginia Goodrich (89 years old). I carried an 91 year old and an 85 year old along and even they are NOT OLD. Neither are you - you are only old when you no longer contribute. You definitely contribute. Well done Teach!

  3. I enjoyed reading what the ESL students at Woodrow are writing and looking at the pictures. After teaching ESL at Woodrow for almost 14 years, it's wonderful to see the program continue so successfully with such dedicated teachers. WWW and ESL will always be in my heart. It's still the best ESL program in DISD! Linda Martinez
